Ty Temel is a nightclub CEO (Halo Bournemouth), founder of an established festival in Sandbanks (SandFest) and has delivered several events with high profile TV and Sports stars in the space of just four years. Ambitious from a young age, Ty’s tenacity has paid off and allowed him to see ventures really thrive whilst being a young businessman. Names that Ty has directly booked for his events include: Floyd Mayweather, Faithless, Idris Elba, Anthony Joshua, Annie Mac, Chase and Status, Example, Tyson Fury, Jason Fox and Rudimental (pictured below).
TY IS WITHOUT QUESTION A SUCCESSFUL ENTREPRENEUR. HE HAS ACHIEVED AN ASPIRATIONAL LEVEL OF NOTORIETY THAT INFLUENCES MANY AND ATTRACTS BRAND PARTNERSHIPS.
SandFest, a large and habitually sold out (5,000 people) annual festival in Sandbanks first started in 2017. Initially it was just an idea Ty had to have a music festival that would enjoy the stunning scenery that stretch of coast benefits from. With golden sands and a backdrop of the Jurassic coast and Old Harry Rocks, it was easy to envision music acts wanting to play and party goers wanting to festival there. Once he had imagined the stage, the rest fell into place with a lot of hard work from his team. Now, four years on from that first hurrah, some of the biggest names in music and world-renowned DJs have graced the SandFest stage.
IAM Events is Ty’s most recent events venture. The concept is simple, a true one-off experience with a high-profile celebrity. Normally the format involves a champagne reception, black tie dinner with auction, an interview with the star followed by Q&A, plus meet and greets and photo opportunities. These events have generated huge demand and have brought world superstars to the south coast. Never without highlight, these events have involved Floyd Mayweather landing his private jet at Bournemouth Airport (2019), Tyson Fury going around the room with the mic to do his own Q&A at AFC Bournemouth Stadium (2018) and Anthony Joshua sitting on the edge of the stage on Ty’s 30th Birthday (2017) asking Ty if he could book him again for the following week as he loved the response from the crowd at the event so much.
Halo Nightclub in Bournemouth is an award-winning venue and one of the most established clubs on the south coast. It has taken Ty time and work to get it that point, it has been over eight years since its inception as the club it is now, housed in a former church. It was working up the ranks in the nightclub game that has culminated in Ty masterminding large, in demand events. Understanding how to position yourself, get the right product and promote it to the right audience has been his ‘University of Life’ without the student debts.
